There are several other webpages added at the end of the blogpost that you can visit if you are interested more about Inbound Marketing.

Why you should stop traditional marketing?

  • 45% of direct mail never gets opened, 200 million people are on the national Do Not Call Registry
  • 85% of people fast forward through commercials
  • 84% of 25 – 35-year-olds are likely to click off a website with excessive advertising

Forget about trying to reach a prospect under 40 with outbound marketing. Inbound marketing is different. Inbound marketing works by earning someone’s attention, rather than buying it.

What is Inbound Marketing?

Inbound marketing refers to marketing strategies that focus on pulling audiences in instead of going out to get prospects’ attention. Inbound marketing pulls visitors in, increase brand exposure, and creates brand authority through the creation of valuable content.

Inbound is Cheaper

The study, which is based on a survey conducted in January 2012 of 972 marketing professionals, found that inbound marketing-dominated organisations experience a 61% lower cost per lead than organisations that predominately leverage outbound marketing.
